    What You’ll Need to Bring:

    • Credit/Debit card used to purchase your concealed carry class
    • Valid government-issued ID
    • Copy of your confirmation email (digital is ok)
    • Your handgun (any caliber, i.e., 22LR, 9mm, 38Spl/ 357, 10mm, 40S&W, 45ACP)
    • Your holster/ a range bag/ or your holster (For transporting only) 
    • 50 rounds
    • 2 magazines for semi auto/ 1 speedloader for revolvers (minimum)
    • Eye and ear protection (Can be provided by the range if you don’t have your own. Electronic hearing protection highly recommended)

    This Class Will Cover:

    • Firearm safety
    • Nevada and federal laws on guns
    • Legal implications of possession, transportation in and out of the state of Nevada, including requirements for traveling by vehicle and airlines, and locations firearms are legally prohibited.
    • General shooting and handling skills
    • Use of Force/ Deadly Force talking points and scenarios 
    • Ballistics/ Concealed carry etiquette 

    Your Testing Process

    A total of 30 rounds for 6 shot or larger capacity and 25 rounds for 5 shot capacity must be fired. Firearms with less than a 5 shot capacity will have to be reloaded at each stage to comply with the 5 shot capacity standards. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass, and shall be indicated on the certificate as “Pass/Fail” only. A humanoid style target such as the B27, B21 or FBI Q shall be used.

    Requirements to obtain after the class

    When applying for your Concealed Carry permit, and after you have taken the mandatory state prescribed course and passed the shooting qualification, you will be reminded of the procedures of what comes afterwards. 

    Inorder to attend this at a minimum: 

    • You have to be at least 21 years of age (or at least 18 if active duty or honorably discharged military)
    • Must have a valid government issued ID.
